On Monday this week I walked to the summit of Pen Y Fan 886m/2907ft, the highest mountain in South Wales with a 35lb / 15.9 kg rucksack on my back. In places, especially nearer the summit, the footpath is extremely rugged and is almost vertical. I no longer suffer any hip pain, nor do I sleep with a pillow under my leg. Thankyou for doing such a fine job of replacing my hip.”
