“Mr Veitch, I am writing to say a big thank you to you and your team for the successful outcome of my knee replacement operation. The post op care and the rehabilitation exercises are producing surprisingly quick improvements. Thank you all once again.”
“I wish to put on record that I was in Amesbury ward for revision hip surgery. The care was outstanding; from the expertise of Mr Veitch the surgeon, to the anaesthetist, the x-ray team and the staff of the ward. Many thanks – it was greatly appreciated.”
“Dear Mr Veitch, a note of appreciation for fitting my hip into your programme, and for making such a neat and efficient job of it. If I was to come to future grief I hope my care will be in your hands.”
“Mr Veitch, You may recall that you replaced my left hip. On Monday this week I walked to the summit of Pen Y Fan 886m/2907ft, the highest mountain in South Wales with a 35lb / 15.9 kg rucksack on my back. Although it is a relatively short round trip, just over 5 miles, I chose the most challenging route to the top. In places, especially nearer the summit, the footpath is extremely rugged and is almost vertical. I am delighted to tell you that the new hip worked beautifully and I suffered no pain or weakness whatsoever during or after the hike. In fact, I can confidently say that I was unaware of any difference in performance between my new hip on the left side and the hip I was born with on the right side! I no longer suffer any hip pain, nor do I sleep with a pillow under my leg. Thankyou for doing such a fine job of replacing my hip.”
“Dear Mr Veitch, I write to thank you for my second hip replacement. I am delighted with the result of both hips and it is a great relief to be walking normally again. I thought that would never happen!”
“My sincere thanks to everyone on Mr Veitch’s surgical team for their great skill and expertise in treating me (left hip replacement). During my time in hospital I was constantly aware of the kindness and compassion, as well as the competence of all those with whom I came into contact.”
“Dear Mr Veitch, I can’t begin to thank you for operating on my right hip. You really have saved my remaining years from such pain and misery. I am so pleased and excited at the prospect of carrying on with my life.”
“I am so grateful to you for my operation which already feels as if it is healing, and for all your explanations and concern, putting my mind at rest. Thank you so much.”
“Dear Mr Veitch, thank you on operating on both my hips very quickly. I feel I have been so lucky. For 3+ years I have not been able to walk without aids (3 wheel trolley and crutches) and now you have given me life without pain, and almost confidence to put the one crutch down. Your support and kindness is second to none with your patients, and I am sure this is why we do so well recovering.”
“To Mr Veitch and his whole team, I just want to thank everyone who looked after me so well when I had my hip operation. I think I had the best team. I feel so good.”
“Mr Veitch, thank you for what you did to rebuild my hip joint, it has been a wonderful experience from start to finish.”
“Thank you so much for taking such good care of my mother. She could not have been in better hands and I especially appreciated your expert opinion and your considered decision making. You went above and beyond and I am extremely grateful.”
“Thank you for your recent advice on my hip and knee and for the letter outlining the current position.”
“I would like to say thank you very much for what you did for me after my hip operation. I can now walk upright without a limp and can also run.”
“Dear Mr Veitch, I would like to thank you and your team at New Hall – for the most kindly and professional help which you have given to my wife. Thanks to the skills of all of you that her quality of life will now improve dramatically. We are most fortunate to have your surgical skills available to us.”
“Thank you to you and your team for the great job you did on my left hip. Starting to get my life back.”
“Thank you so much for your professionalism, skill and expertise when administrating the cortisone injection into my hip. I am delighted with the result – less pain and sleeping better.”
